(BUS 13) Introductory Letter

April 29, 1998

Dear "Micro MBA" Students:

I am writing to provide you with the latest information for BUS 13, "The Micro MBA: Entrepreneurial Business Management" which will meet on Thursday evenings from 7:00 p.m. to 8:50 p.m. beginning May 7, 1998.

  1. There has been a change in the classroom. The class will meet in:

    History Building #200 (located in the corner of the Main Quad closest to Hoover Tower)

    Room 2

    Please enter through the front door of the History building to reach this room which is located in the basement.

  2. The course reader is now available at the campus bookstore. The reader contains four articles and four cases and costs approximately $25. The bookstore is open Monday-Friday 7:45 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Sunday 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

  3. I have a tremendous amount of material that I plan to cover in the next five weeks, so to get us off to a quick start, please read the following two articles from the reader prior to the first night of class.

    "Industry Structural Change" #9-377-051

  4. I will distribute a course syllabus the first night of class. However, if you want to review it sooner, it can be found on the class Web site:
