Quilt Art by Connie Irish-Hess

Connie first learned the technique of painting acrylic colors on the back of acrylic sheet while in school at De Anza Jr. College. All of these paintings were produced using that technique.

The images are inspired by traditional, American quilt patterns.

This color wheel was Connie's first painting using the acrylic-on-acrylic technique. It was inspired by Frank Stella.
